So remember

when I said I was going to make the last six months leading up to 30 we're going to be much better than the last six months? I was right. :)

Call it the power of positive thinking, the benefits of a change of scenery, or just fate, but since my last post things have really turned around. I'm still not employed but I did have a couple of interviews at least. They helped me gain some experience interviewing as the new, professional counselor me, and I have a few more applications in the works. I'm happy with the direction things are going and confident that I'm where I need to be right now. It's a good feeling, one that I lost for a little bit in there.

I'm also really enjoying being here in Connecticut. It's not my favorite location as far as things to do, but I LOVE that we have the opportunity to see so many friends that we've missed for the last 2-5 years while we were scattered around the world. It's been a lot of fun reuniting, catching up and just enjoying to company of people that understand all of the challenges that are presented to us due to the military lifestyle.

Now remind me about all of this positivity when I'm crying about the cold in a few months. :)
