January 1 is a time for new beginnings and renewing commitment and this year, one of the things I want to recommit to is keeping our family's story. The last four months have brought many changes to our family and opportunities for growth and change, I can't even imagine the adventures that lie ahead for us. I want to make sure that we remember things as we move forward into 2012 and beyond.
The biggest adventure is our household is growing. After a l-o-n-g drive to Oklahoma, we arrived back in Oklahoma with an extra "son," my 16 year-old nephew Kaleb. He will be finishing out high school with us and we are loving having him around. The boys think it's great to have someone they can look up to and play with and Scotty and I are loving getting to spend time with him again and get to know the young man he has become while we've been living all around.
We will also be adding another member to our crew, a new little boy, in April. Basically I am and will continue to be surrounded by tons of testosterone, noise, chaos and fun, and I'm looking forward to every second of it.
Not to mention it should all lead to some great quotes and stories to share. :)
